Man in His 20s Stabbed in Rochdale Street Incident

Officers were called to Croydon Avenue in Castleton, Rochdale, following a stabbing incident on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at approximately 12:30 PM on June 23rd after reports of a man being stabbed. The victim, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with injuries that Greater Manchester Police have described as not life-threatening. He remains in hospital as of Tuesday morning.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing police concentrating their efforts on a house on Croydon Avenue during the afternoon. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is currently in custody for questioning.

The suspected attacker had not yet been apprehended, and police investigations are ongoing as they continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.
