Middleton – May 23rd, 2025 – A significant emergency services presence was established in Middleton during the early hours of Friday morning following a fire that affected several properties. A large cordon was put in place across the area as firefighters tackled the intense blaze on Hazelhurst Drive. Fire crews were first alerted to reports of a fire involving a house at around 1 am on Friday, May 23rd. Four fire engines from multiple stations were quickly dispatched to the scene to bring the developing situation under control. While most of the damage was of an inferno devastating a single property, the fire also caused damage to surrounding houses. A.I.
