£50,000 Cannabis Haul Seized in Middleton Drugs Raid, Two Men Arrested

Middleton, Rochdale – Greater Manchester Police (GMP) seized approximately 5 kg of suspected cannabis, with an estimated street value of £50,000, and arrested two men during an early morning drugs raid in Middleton, near Rochdale, earlier this month.

The operation took place on Wednesday, October 1st, when officers executed a warrant at an address on Middleton Gardens. Inside the property, police discovered and recovered the significant quantity of what is believed to be cannabis.

Two men were arrested at the scene in connection with the seizure. Following questioning, both individuals were later released on police bail as investigations continue. No ages or further specific details about the arrested men have been released by the police at this time.

GMP confirmed the details of the raid via a post on their GMP Rochdale Facebook page, also releasing an image showing cardboard boxes filled with the suspected cannabis.

The social media update stated: "On Wednesday morning (1 October), we executed a warrant at an address on Middleton Gardens, Middleton. Officers recovered approximately 5kgs of suspected cannabis, which has a street value of around £50,000. Two men were also arrested and have since been bailed pending investigation".
