Rochdale Shooting: 19-Year-Old Left With ‘Potentially Life-Changing’ Injuries After Afternoon of Chaos
Rochdale, Greater Manchester – A 19-year-old man is receiving hospital treatment this evening following a targeted shooting in Rochdale that triggered a massive armed police response and the deployment of an air ambulance.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to reports of a shooting on Beswicke Royds Street in the Belfield area of the borough at approximately 3:20 PM on Thursday, March 5th.
The incident resulted in the immediate closure of several roads in the vicinity, including nearby Reservoir Street, as officers secured the scene and began their investigation.
