Man Rushed to Hospital After Stabbing in Rochdale Town Centre

Rochdale — A man in his early 20s has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Rochdale town centre in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, November 1st).

Emergency services descended on Stationers Entry at around 2 AM after an incident occurred outside the Regal Moon Wetherspoons pub.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed that a young man was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital for injuries consistent with a stabbing.

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack, and a police investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances.

In the hours following the incident, a large police presence was visible in the area. Images from the scene showed a police cordon in place, taping off a section of the pavement outside the popular pub.

Forensic investigators were also seen meticulously gathering evidence from within the cordoned-off area.

The police cordon has since been lifted, and access to Stationers Entry has been restored.

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with their ongoing enquiries.
