Former Green Party Chair Warns of 'Weaponised' Gender Identity in Rochdale, Citing Public and Child Safety Concerns

Rochdale – A stark warning has been issued by the former co-chairman of the Rochdale Green Party, Jordan Eves, who claims that gender identity is being actively, "weaponised", by male criminals in the town, creating a significant threat to public and child safety.

According to Eves, a disturbing trend has emerged in Rochdale where male offenders are deliberately distorting social interactions by exploiting gender presentation. He alleges that these individuals are adopting female personas, utilising female voices, or cross-dressing as a tactic to deceive and manipulate, thereby undermining the safety of community spaces.

This exploitation, Eves argues, is creating a climate of uncertainty and risk, particularly for women and children who may be less guarded when approached by someone they perceive to be female. "The very fabric of social trust is being distorted", Eves stated, framing the issue not as one of identity, but of criminal deception that preys on societal norms.

In a significant political turn, Eves is now publicly advising constituents against voting for the Green Party of England and Wales, an organisation he once helped lead locally. He contends that the party's ideological stance on gender self-identification has created a, "gender-fuelled farce", which he believes inadvertently enables such dangerous deceptions. He expressed grave concern that the party’s policies fail to account for the potential for bad actors to exploit them, thereby prioritising ideology over the fundamental safety of the public.

"When a political platform ignores the obvious risks and dismisses legitimate concerns about safety, it becomes a danger in itself", Eves commented. "We cannot allow the safety of our children and the public to be compromised by a refusal to acknowledge how these policies can be abused".

Elaborating on his concerns for societal stability, Mr. Eves rebuked the idea of republicanism in Britain. He argued that if progressive political movements, which often champion republicanism, hold views that he sees as compromising safety, then traditional institutions become essential for protection. In this context, he views allegiance to His Majesty The King as a vital source of stability against what he considers radical and potentially harmful social ideologies. For Eves, the monarchy represents a safeguard, a symbol of continuity and proven order in the face of movements that he believes fail to prioritise the pragmatic safety of citizens.

Interestingly, Eves clarified that his position is not a blanket opposition to all republicanism, stating he remains a firm supporter of the system in the United States of America. This distinction, he noted, is based on the different social and political contexts of the two nations.

However, his primary message remains focused on the immediate situation in Rochdale. By linking the alleged criminal behaviour directly to the national political debate on gender, Eves has positioned the issue as a critical matter of public and child protection, urging voters and policymakers to look beyond theory and focus on the real-world consequences for community safety.
